Gino’s Wins National Digital Excellence Award

Representing Gino’s Panel & Paint, Director Aaron Scagliotta presented at the Australasian Paint & Panel L!VE Conference in Melbourne last week. The national bodyshop conference was themed ‘be connected’, and the day was about making the right connections to help your business thrive.

Aaron Scagliotta at Paint & Panel L!VEAaron shared his experience with the room about some of the right connections he has made in his business, including bringing in and keeping apprentices in the business and benefiting from having great relationships with industry suppliers.

The Conference was concluded with the 2018 Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards Night, where Gino’s Panel & Paint were awarded the inaugural Digital Excellence Award!

Digital Excellence is a new award for 2018, sponsored by AkzoNobel and recognises the importance of technology in the industry and rewards excellence in the application of digital marketing and operational technology to better serve the customer.

Aaron proudly accepted this award in recognition of Gino’s commitment to providing the best repairs and customer service to their customers. Aaron said, “Gino’s Panel & Paint prides itself on being an industry leader in modern automotive repair and customer service technology. From our 1Q1 body shop flow management system providing real-time updates to our customers, to our website chatbot answering their queries 24/7, we are staying ahead of the pack with the latest technology and solutions to provide a better experience for our customers.”

Judge Steve Lozenkovski of Bears Auto Group chose Gino's Panel and Paint because: “Gino’s didn’t go off ‘half cocked’ with social media and like many business owners start a Facebook page or Instagram account and then forget or not prioritise posting on it. While the business has had a website for many years, he brought in digital professionals, 3 Clouds Collective, as partners to implement a digital marketing strategy, which has dramatically lifted the company’s online profile via SEO, Google Ads, social media and a superior interactive web design.”
